Think about your last big purchase. Maybe you did a lot of research to make sure you were an informed buyer and felt like you made a wise decision. And once you made the purchase, I hope you stopped researching and looking! Why doesn’t that work for smaller purchases? Why doesn’t my drive to shop or buy disappear after the last smaller thing I bought? Maybe I’ve made it a habit to shop. Maybe it has even become an addiction. Stuff will never fill the holes you feel in your life. Shopping doesn’t satisfy the craving. It isn’t the stuff you crave, it is probably something else, and shopping is just your (unhealthy) coping skill. So be careful with that. Be mindful. Change your habits and it will change your future!
